Peter Andre gets a pet from Battersea Dogs Home
- 'We love the little champ,' says singer

Peter Andre has a new pet dog - called Charlie - obtained from Battersea Dog's Home.
The Behind Closed Doors singer says he and his his children - Junior, six, and Princess Tiaamii, four - are getting on well with their new family member, who had been left at the famous south London pet refuge when his owners moved abroad
The Behind Closed Doors singer wrote on Twitter: "Welcome Charlie Pug :))) we love him. He is a dude.
"He was a rescue Pug at Battersea and me J and P spent some time there and Loved the little champ. The other owners were apparently very good but had to move overseas I'm sure he was really loved by them too . One of us already. (sic)"
Andre is not the only celebrity to have recently acquired a new dog.
Miley Cyrus bought her boyfriend Liam Hemsworth a puppy for his 22nd birthday and Tweeted: "Got Liam THE best bday pressie ever! (sic)"
Cyrus then posted a picture of the dog, named Ziggy, and when a fan Tweeted that she was under the impression the dog's name was Daisy Dukes, Cyrus added: "Liam wanted to name her that! I said NOOO WAY! Shes an angel! (sic)"
