Gianni is at the beck and call of his cantankerous ninety-something mother, Valeria, who squanders all of his money on her Romanian home help Kristina. His wife Elisabetta barely looks at him let alone undertakes her marital duties while his teenage daughter Teresa stares at him with pity in her eyes. The only glimmer of hope in his life is his beautiful and vivacious neighbour, Aylin, who seems to be flirting with him.
