The West End has dozens of
small ticket agencies, try Leicester Square or Shaftesbury Avenue.
You can buy tickets for most
shows/gigs at these agencies. But beware recent surveys show
many charge tourists whopping commissions and even give cheap
seats in return for top seat money. You may also find that the
most popular shows are sold out long before you arrive.
To be safe book theatre tickets
with your travel package, ask your agent for details. Be warned
though, the downside with buying in advance can be higher ticket

The "half-price"
ticket booth- If you
plan to buy tickets when you arrive in London try this outlet
in Leicester Square (south side). Mon-Sat 12:00-18:30, Sun 12:00-15:00.
Plenty of cheap tickets although you can't be too fussy as to
which show you wish to see. Best discounts on top-price seats
only. Cash only, no phone number.
